The ASM Akron Chapter is sponsoring a Teachers Camp
for teachers at the high school level to further the knowledge of materials. The week-long session will be held July 23 - 27, 2012 at the University of Akron. This opportunity is offered at no cost to teachers and affords them the opportunity to acquire four "Continuing Education Units" (CEU).

We have been extremely fortunate to have received funding or in-kind donations from The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, NACE International, The University of Akron Department of Corrosion and Reliability Engineering, AGPA (Akron Global Polymer Academy), Akron Steel Treating Co. and The ASM International Foundation among others.
This opportunity could not take place without the volunteer efforts of Dr. Robert Shemenski, FASM, Dr. Amit Prakash, FASM, Deborah Curtis, Joe Powell, John Gordon, Dave Houser, Marion Gordon and the University of Akron Staff to name a few of the volunteers. We are most fortunate to have top-level instructors from ASM International to facilitate the program.
